“if you're not prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original.”
-Sir Ken Robinson-

"I'm Original."

Creativity, it lives in every child, and it is up to parents and  guardians to nurture them and let the child grow into their our unique shoes. It is true, what Sir Ken Robinson said, the education we are known to is molded with a one-size-fits-all attitude which is sad because you know what I know too, that we are all different. We are all good at different things.

So what is this thing where we are commanded to follow, this conventional path of life. From kindergarten, to elementary, on to college and then university. You graduate, get a job which you will or will not excel in, but either way you find your spouse and soon you have children of your own. Raise them, live to see your grandchildren and die.

I'm not up for that kinda life.
I want a lot more.
I want to do what I love. What I feel is important. What I believe in. I want to live by my Element.

Backpacking to unknown places,
Sky diving in cloudless baby blue skies,
Finish a full marathon,
Volunteer in third world countries,
Have Soup Kitchens,
Deciphering piano sheets and playing them beautifully with my limited knowledge of the lil black beans,
Dancing down the subway by midnights,
Baking chocolate lava cakes on Sunday mornings,
Fall deeply in love and also survive through heart breaks,
Make picture collages with him,
Paint our house walls together, and each other,
Have brunches by the lake and dinners by the star-lit skies.
Have crazy fights, shouting and screaming and later a cozy night by the fire with hot chocolate in our hands and blankies over our shoulders,

.. because I can.
At the end of the day, everything will find its place, when you believe. =)

Those things are the norms which you can do even with a 9-5 job.
Which beings me to a point, i don't want a 9-5 career. I dislike routines, I want to have a different schedule every day. Engaging in different events every month and achieving different goals every year.
But now, do I dare to take those steps out of my comfort zone?
and challenge myself to see what has been hidden outside this veil.
I am afraid of what I might find out.

of its existence and my own acceptance of it.

But a girl's got to try before she learns anything.

I guess for now.... it's just me and my dreams for the road ahead.
